“Believe me: I am in my Father and my Father is in me. If you can’t believe that, believe what you see—these works. The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I’ll do it. That’s how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I’ll do.” ~John 14:11-14~ (msg)
WE ARE BORN TO EXPRESS HIS GLORY!
DOES IT GLORIFY GOD TO STUMBLE IN THE DARK, SINNING WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WHY, POWERLESS TO BE TRANSFORMED — THE MEASURE OF OUR JOY SUBJECT TO CIRCUMSTANCES AND TEMPORAL SITUATIONS?
Nope. Not even a little bit.
False humility is a stench in Papa’s nostrils. True humility is not thinking less of oneself, it is thinking of oneself less.
Those who insist we cannot hear God for ourselves, cannot walk in consistent victory, and cannot rule and reign with King Jesus right NOW…have no idea who God really is and what He has really done through Christ on Calvary.
Not knowing is one thing. REFUSING HIM IS ANOTHER.
Learn!
We must humble ourselves and learn!
It is when one begins to teach others their weakness theologies as TRUTH, excuse their own sin and failings and the sin of others as “just a part of being human”, that the conflict arises and “disunity” is born.
JESUS HATED the spirit that kept people from the freedom and abundance of His Kingdom. And He still does.
God has done it all so we can do it all. Reject the false teaching now burning through the Bride which says ‘do nothing.’ BE FILLED with the Word of His Grace and “DO ALL THESE THINGS AND MORE.”
Unbroken joy comes from willingly staying in the place of divine tension. For example, we are in this world but not of this world.
Grace is given that we might do the impossible, beginning with the greatest commandment: Love Him with ALL our heart, mind, soul, and strength – LOVE HIM WITH OUR EVERYTHING.
He Himself makes this possible by depositing His love in us through the indwelling Spirit of Christ. Without this unfathomable gift, humanity has no hope of reconciliation. We would otherwise have NO HOPE of knowing Him, loving Him, walking with Him in friendship and sonship.
Because of His gift, however, there is no limit to the depth of intimacy we may enjoy with God.
Consider Enoch…and he was NOT INDWELT by God’s own Spirit!
This love alone, makes it possible to stay in the place of holy tension – being caught between two worlds – and not become weary, exhausted, or frustrated, but abide in a continual love feast of perfect rest and joy!
The comfort-wrapped logic of the religious spirit, insists that God must fit into an easily assimilated and reasoned formula for “Christian success.”
So we see two ditches…one is the idea that we do nothing at all because He already did it all…the other is that we do it all because that’s the only way we’ll make it to Heaven.
The two ditches called lawlessness and legalism are separated by the straight and narrow path of true righteousness.
The Truth is Jesus Himself, living in us, touching through us, loving through us, healing through us…transforming the world through us, turning this world upside down through us. In short, expressing the Father’s will here on earth, as it is in Heaven.
This reality of Christ expressed in and through us, is ONLY manifested as we keep a heart posture of hunger and humility.
While Jesus has finished the work of salvation, we are invited to express that salvation through radical obedience. Some are stuck in a sort of lazy limbo of carnality and defeat–while calling it “grace.”
The striving so many have understood to be synonymous with the Christian faith, is sourced from Hell…and yet, so is the spiritual laziness increasingly evident in the false grace movement.
Whenever God does something, the enemy mimics…
The True Grace Movement is evidenced by joyful, powerful, ecstatically HOLY lives.
The Lord is simply pulling the covers on the counterfeit, and anybody walking in true friendship with Him will see it very clearly.
The beginning, middle, and end of “YOU SHALL DO THESE THINGS AND MORE”, is INTIMACY with God. In other words, if one is not abiding in the freedom won in the Cross—from the moment of encounter onward—they have been taken captive by a manifestation of the religious spirit.
