I had a vision of a blindingly bright Sword glittering under the sun in an open field of green, flashing and spinning faster than my eye could follow. The light was not normal sunlight, it was a radiant, glorious Light brighter than any light on earth – it was the Son’s Light.
The Sword’s opponents were not visible; I knew they were insignificant by comparison. The whole vision was shot through with white hot joy – fierce, ecstatic JOY.
The Sword is the Word of God which the Bride shall now wield with more power and authority than has ever been seen.
The Sword is so bright that even the Bride is hidden under it’s glory. She is invisible to casual observation, and impervious to attack so long as she effectively wields the Sword of Truth.
“Get up, my dear friend,
fair and beautiful lover—come to me!
Look around you: Winter is over;
the winter rains are over, gone!
Spring flowers are in blossom all over.
The whole world’s a choir—and singing!
Spring warblers are filling the forest
with sweet arpeggios.
Lilacs are exuberantly purple and perfumed,
and cherry trees fragrant with blossoms.
Oh, get up, dear friend,
my fair and beautiful lover—come to me!
Come, my shy and modest dove—
leave your seclusion, come out in the open.
Let me see your face,
let me hear your voice.
For your voice is soothing
and your face is ravishing.”
