Wisdom Overthrown

“Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?”

~I Corinthians 1:20~
The sovereignty of God is not something that will EVER be understood with human reasoning. Those who exalt their intellect in the pursuit of wisdom from Heaven, invariably end in shipwreck. Wisdom to understand God’s plans and purposes in the earth may only be gained by submitting to the Lordship of Jesus.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Because human reasoning has been exalted to such a dizzying height of idolatry, many, MANY believers in the earth are completely deceived about Who God really is. Some have been led into utter lawlessness, supposing that the manner in which they live will not count for or against them at the end of the age. Others are firmly convinced that the only way to salvation is by observing a strict formulaic framework of works and religious exercises.

The truth is that we are each created for one purpose and no other; to know and be known by Jesus! As we press into this highest purpose and calling for our lives, we are increasingly convinced of His unwavering goodness, His bewildering mercy and His impossible love.

These convictions about the character of God overflow from our lives and ignite the world around us with the same fiery, unquenchable love we ourselves are being daily consumed with!

Only as we live and breath with One focus, can we even begin to rightly understand His sovereignty. God is able to call forth life from death, joy from sorrow and total wholeness from the shattered remnants of our biggest failures. Tragedy and injustice, as we understand them are not the black and white, linear concepts which this fallen world has taught mankind. God is outside of time and He has given us His glory to advance His rule and reign in the earth.

Consider Jesus hanging on the Cross, bloody and tortured; to the carnal mind there is no justice there. To the Spirit led sons and daughters of the King, however, His perfect justice is clearly seen in the most stunning expression of mercy and love Eternity will ever know. We need the revelation of the Cross to understand how 6 million Jews could be murdered in our modern and progressive world. We need the revelation of the Cross to understand how 50 million unborn babies could be murdered on the altar of convenience while God remains apparently unmoved. The Blood Jesus shed on the Cross gives the believer ALL authority in Heaven and earth to overthrow dark rulers of the air. Principalities and powers have lost all effectiveness against the love sick worshipers of Jesus on the planet.

Even now, we are rising up in the power and glory of King Jesus and overturning the evil princes who have tormented His bride for centuries. As the tide turns and waves of glory are unleashed across the globe, many will step into a destiny in God beyond their wildest imaginations. They will find themselves punishing the very things which once tormented them and their loved ones, friends, communities and nations.

We are witnesses to the release of forerunners in the earth; in this hour, some of us are going before the King, preparing the way of His bride, awakening her, restoring her to first love intimacy with Jesus and equipping her with the authority and purpose of Heaven. She will don the righteous acts of the saints as her wedding gown, a pure and spotless bride, made ready for the wedding supper of the Lamb!

“If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.  But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying.

For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.  For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.  And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.”

~James 3:13-18~
